GaRDN Photography Workshop

4, Nov 2020

Genetic and Rare Disease Network are running a free rare disease photographic workshop with internationally acclaimed photographers, Rachel Callander and Nathan Maddigan.
Together Rachel and Nathan will work with a small group to teach you how to capture positivity, joy and beauty in your child’s rare disease, using your own camera or even your phone. You will have the opportunity to create an Awesomeness Form for your child, celebrating your child and their development in their own way on their own timeframe.
Rachel’s first book, Super Power Baby Project, won the Outstanding Book of the Year Award at the 2015 IPPY in New York. She co-wrote Super Power Kids with Nathan Maddigan in 2019, and the images from this book featured in a major exhibition at the State Library of Western Australia. Nathan was recently awarded the International Photographer of the Year within the NZIPP.
